Villa in Rural Umbria

Exterior:

The ravishing Umbrian countryside, oak forests, bustling Umbertide, Cortona, and the artistic and cultural cities of Perugia and Assisi form the backdrop to this wonderful villa. Charming towns such as Spello, Deruta, Todi, and Gubbio as well as the stunning Lake Trasimeno are a scenic short drive away, and plenty of trattorias and other restaurants are within a short distance.

The villa itself is in a very private location in the heart of nature surrounded by beautiful gardens. The furnished terraces make a wonderful place to relax over a glass of fine Umbrian wine or share meals al fresco in the sun or shade. 

The large swimming pool is accompanied by sun loungers and umbrellas for relaxation. Upon request the swimming pool can be for the exclusive use of villa guests, otherwise occasionallly it might be shared with other guests at the estate.

Finallly, there is a private restored chapel on the property's grounds, perfect for a very special wedding.

Interior:

This two story villa in Umbria can host up to 8 guests. It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and features traditional furnishings such as terracotta floors and oak and chestnut beams. The antique decor is combined with modern amenities for your utmost comfort.

The ground level is mainly an open-plan space. The living room has an open fireplace and satellite television. An archway separates this area from the quaint dining room, with French windows to the terrace. The fully-equipped kitchen will meet all your self-catering needs and includes a breakfast area.

One of the three bedrooms can also be found on this level. This can be used as either a double or twin room, is suitable for the disabled and can also have an extra single bed added for a third guest if needed. It has an ensuite bathroom that is furnished in marble. 

A hand crafted wrought-iron balustrade staircase takes you up to the first floor where two further bedrooms can be found. One is the old granary, romantic with a queen-size bed, and hand-painted furnishings. It has an ensuite bathroom with a large shower. The final double bedroom is particularly special with an ensuite bathroom, lobby, and a loggia whose stone staircase descends to the garden terrace.
