Interiors

The two restored villas for rent in Umbria, the master villa reaching 183 sqm and the smaller neighbouring villa where accommodation is offered, have kept the country style that characterizes the region.

Coming form the garden the main entrance leads into the main villa, which also affords a rear door leading to the bedrooms. The master villa is a three-storeyed building whose ground level has a dining room, living area, kitchen and its own bathroom. The dining room of 50sqm has preserved its rustic style with its old archway communicating the dining room and the living area which boasts a warming stone fireplace and deep sofa to flop onto. Thick wooden beams which have been kept in all rooms add to its rustic style. The 16 sqm fully fitted kitchen is provided with all the modern conveniences you can name and follows the typical Tuscan country style. The bathroom is a converted wood oven and is equipped with a shower and sandstone washbasin. On the first floor there is a cosy sitting room ideal for reading which is heated with a stone fireplace and fitted with double sofa bed. The rear entrance opens onto the hall on this level which communicates the two bedrooms, a double bedded and a twin bedded room. These rooms sport paintings where the castle and the scenic beauty of the area near the villa has been captured. On this first floor the bathroom of 5 sqm is equipped with whirlpool shower. A lovely attic has been refurbished to convert it into a double bedded room with a four poster bed. This 22 sqm double room is decorated with an antique desk and a magnificent trompe-l'oeil representing the view guests enjoy when looking towards Lake Trasimeno. To host more guests the grain drying -room next-door has been skilfully refurbished to provide guests with another 20sqm twin bedded room and comfortable bathroom equipped with whirlpool bathtub and shower.
 

The much smaller neighbouring villa ‘s attraction is enhanced by its beautiful colonnade from where the viewer will be mesmerized by the view of the scenery. On the same ground level the kitchen is completely lined with delightful hand-painted tiles and the bathroom (5 sqm) is equipped with a refreshing and relaxing whirlpool shower.
