Exterior

Masseria Scirocco is located within easy reach of the main attractions in Puglia and just a few km from Martina Franca- a large town with a particularly beautiful “old town” surrounded by stone walls with prominent Baroque gates leading to piazzas and narrow, winding streets. Horse-riding facilities, a golf course and thermal baths are a short drive away and can be booked through the hotel.

The unique features of the Puglia landscape have been combined with la Masseria Scirocco´s individual style to create something very special.
The hotel rooms and suites are found in attractive “trulli,” the traditional dry-stone structures with conical roofs typical of the local area, and “palmenti” that were once used for the production of wine.

The hotel´s gardens are simply magical, the lush green lawns and Mediterranean plants an attractive contrast to the bright white buildings. A lovely large pool is surrounded by sun loungers for lazy days and equipped with a bar. Little terraces and private seating areas are dotted about, tucked under shady pergolas.

The hotel also has its own 6 hectare oak woodland which has a footpath running through it, perfect for a nature trail or invigorating morning jog.

The hotel has 13 rooms, individually designed and equipped with all modern comforts: wireless internet, satellite TV, jacuzzi, minibar and air-conditioning.

All rooms are accompanied by living areas or separate rooms, and by a little private outdoor space, furnished with a table and chairs and looking out onto the hotel grounds and landscape beyond. The style is fresh and light with lovely authentic features reflecting the Puglian soul: wrought-iron beds, restored wardrobes and doors, archways, fireplaces and even tables made out of horse-cart wheels.

A beautiful dining room continues the same traditional design with private eating areas due to the dividing archways. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served here, based on home grown ingredients and carefully prepared to a high standard.
