Exterior

Just a few km from the dazzling “white city” of Ostuni and the attractive beaches lining the Adriatic coast lies Villa il Trullo. The word trullo refers to the unusual beehive shaped houses in Puglia which look like something right out of a fairy tale.

The villa is one of three properties on a large 4 hectare estate. These are completely private and self-contained, but would be convenient to rent together if you are part of a group.

The gardens are truly lovely. There is a swimming pool set in a large manicured lawn and furnished with sun loungers so you can simply relax and soak up the warm sun of the countryside and take in the panoramic views.

A charming shaded terrace just outside the villa makes an ideal spot for outdoor dining.

 

Interior

Villa il Trullo dates back to the 1700s and has been carefully restored so as not to remove any of its charm, but rather preserves its original architectural features such as its characteristic stone archways and traditional alcoves.

The house consists of 2 double bedrooms both with ensuite shower rooms, a living-dining room, and a fully-equipped kitchen, and a television. 

Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout the villa. Various services such as baby sitting, bike and boat rental, and massages are available upon request.  

This very special villa will make a holiday on the beautiful Adriatic Coast even more unforgettable.
