Private Villa on the Amalfi Coast, Italy

Exterior:

Set on the Amalfi Coast, in the Gulf of Sorrento, Villa Furore has an ideal location just 8 km from  Positano and 6km from Sorrento making it the perfect base from which to discover the wonders surrounding you: sea, sand, and mountains.

The sea view is breathtaking from the property and just 1.3 km and 130 steps lie between the villa and a private cliff area from where you can hear the sounds of the waves breaking against the rocks. Guests will certainly want to visit the nearest beaches just 3 km away, sandy and inviting.

The villa is reached by a 70-step staircase (guests can take advantage of the cable car to carry their luggage) and over a wooden bridge, adorned with tropical plants, Mediterranean bushes, a lemon grove, and a freshwater well carved into the rock. The beautiful and expansive garden is filled with striking coloured bougainvilleas and lush agaves- the perfect setting for relaxation.

Guests can also enjoy themselves in the pure relaxation of the terrace and swimming pool that is carved into the rock, where guests will find sun loungers, a hydromassage Jacuzzi, a large stone shower, and tables and chairs shaded by palm trees. Sheltering trees and plants assure your privacy, but you can still enjoy the incredible views.

The main terrace of the villa features an open air kitchen that is fully-equipped with a barbeque and a wood-burning oven. Here, you can cook for yourself or hire a chef to prepare meals on a daily basis or fo special occasion. There is a covered dining area here, along with an well-equipped laundry area. There is a charming bar in the grotto with a small wine cellar, a refrigerator, freezer, stereo, tables, and chairs.

Interior:

This private villa on the Amalfi Coast is divided over three floors. Downstairs there are two bedrooms decorated in a rustic style with sea views. One is a twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and the other a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom as well.

There is a large living and dining area with comfortable sofas, a stone fireplace, and satellite LCD television. Also on this level is an office with a sofa bed and a bathroom. There is an indoor kitchen, fully-equipped with gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer.

On the upper level of this private villa is a living room with two sofa beds, a corner office with Wi-Fi, and large window with a sea view. On this same floor there is a stunning master bedroom and beautiful bathroom decorated with Vietri Ceramics and fitted with a large shower.

The fitness relax area is a true haven with large sliding windows providing a spectacular sight of the sea while you exercise. Furthermore, there is an additional sofa bed here and a sauna and a bathroom with a shower sculpted into the rock. This floor also features a little terrace with a stunning view over the villa's terraces and beyond.

To the left of the villa’s main entrance there is an annex villa. This has a private outdoor area with panoramic sea view and barbecue, living room with large French windows, dining table and double sofa bed, a small kitchen, one double bedroom with satellite LCD television and DVD player, and a bathroom with a large shower. The annex boasts a rooftop area with a private Jacuzzi and an halfbath with shower. This would be ideal for a couple travelling with the rest of the holiday group but who would like a little extra privacy. 

There is air-conditioning throughout both buildings. The standout feature of this villa is its stunning wooden terrace with breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast and the Mediterranean sea. On the terrace, there is also a sofa bed, mini-fridge, shower and sink.
