Villa Desdemona boasts a fabulous position just a short walk from the centre of Praiano, one of the most distinguished towns on the Amalfi coast. The town is characterized by two areas, one on the sea with exquisite natural bays, and the other with excellent views and the town´s amenities including shops and restaurants.

The villa itself has its own excellent outdoor spaces where you´ll be quite happy to spend long, lazy days, such as we all enjoy on holiday. There is a good-sized swimming pool positioned so as to look right over the sea, a solarium with sun loungers, and a large terrace furnished with dining table and chairs, picnic bench, barbecue and pizza oven, perfect for al fresco dining as a group whilst admiring the unforgettable sight of sparkling blue sea and the rocky cliffs in the background.

Interior

Villa Desdemona is a unique property. Recently remodelled and furnished to the highest quality, attention has been paid to the finest details. It is light and bright throughout and the fresh white walls, gentle archways, smart antique furnishings and discreet modern facilities all blend harmoniously to create a most pleasant holiday setting.

The ground floor features a very spacious room divided into different areas linked by open archways.  An elegant dining room with a charming fireplace and door opening onto a terrace leads onto the large living room with a beautiful wooden-panelled ceiling and a mezzanine level housing a double bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom with a luxurious sauna. The ground floor is completed by a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave etc and a utility room. 

A hallway staircase leads upstairs where you will find three more bedrooms- a single with an en suite shower room, a double with a large balcony and a twin with a balcony. Guests can access the pool and garden from here. There is also another bathroom on this level with a hydro-massage bathtub.  

Guests might want to make the most of the extras on offer: These include cooking classes at the villa in which you can choose between Neapolitan, fish, and pizza themes. After teaching and preparation you will enjoy a dinner sampling what you´ve made. Wine tasting is also available and takes place in the villa´s authentic wine-cellar along with delicious breads, cold cuts, cheeses and honey. Contact the owner for more information.
