This lovely B&B in nestled in the lovely hillscape of Umbria

The  swimming pool offers sweeping views of the valley, its rolling hills and different shades of green typical of this area of Italy..

Cycling and hiking, golf, equestrian sports thermal indulging baths in Chianciano and San Casciano ai Bagni are some holiday activities to enjoy. 

It is off the motorway and its strategic location in Umbria is near Orvieto, Lake Trasimeno and Perugia as well as the divine Val d'Orcia. The gems of Tuscany are also nearby. It makes a paradise for art, food and wine connoisseurs.

The estate has a parking area for guests.

Interiors

This lovely B&B is housed in two ancient stone buildings, a typical material of Umbria, which have undergone refurbishment, though some features were kept.

The policy of the estate is eco friendly and uses sustainable methods such as geothermic and solar energy, low-consumption bulbs, water-saving devices and rubbish classification.

The ground floor and the garden are the settings for meals.

There is a large living room with fireplace housed in what a former stable. The large complete kitchen is inked to the dining room and a room for selling the farm’s products.

The rooms totalling 9 double ones are large and naturally lighted. They have independent entrance and large private bathroom with a modern shower window.
In the upstairs is a TV and games room.

The formula includes bed-and-“ delectable”-breakfast. Dinner must be booked and is accompanied with the shimmering candle-lights outdoors or indoors. Meals are prepared with local organic products. The regional dishes have received some touches of innovation.

Cooking mirrors a culture and the regional flavours. Therefore, lessons are a great way of learning them.

This B&B is a combination of excellent service, lovely views and excellent location to explore Umbria and, why not, Tuscany.
