Exterior

Villa San Toscano has a privileged position approximately 500m above sea level meaning it stands proud above the valley below with breathtaking views of the rolling green hills and the town of Arezzo.

Arezzo is within spitting distance of the villa, just 5 minutes away. A lovely Medieval town with plenty of historical and cultural sites to visit and of course numerous restaurants and shops.

The villa makes a brilliant base for exploring the wider region too with larger towns, Cortona, Florence, Siena and Montalcino for example, all within easy reach.

The villa forms part of an agricultural estate and is therefore surrounded by forest and farmland. On site a variety of products are made from the produce grown: honey, olive oil, compotes, jellies, liqueurs, jams and more. There is a smart restaurant too with particularly pleasant patio terraces meaning that guests can admire the landscape while enjoying their meals. 

The beautiful grounds are immaculately maintained and have plenty of private seating areas as well as a lovely large swimming pool, accompanied by a solarium equipped with sun loungers and a gazebo, all completely surrounded by nature, a quiet paradise.

Interior

Villa San Toscano is suitable for a single group or a group of separate families or friends who would prefer more privacy as the property can be divided into several apartments due to its various independent entrances.

The main area is composed of a charming living room, dining room with views across the valley and a kitchen with an inviting fireplace; the rooms are full of character due to traditional features like the archways, high beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls.

One of the five double bedrooms is found on the ground floor and is accessible by disabled guests.  The other bedrooms are all on the first floor of the property, decorated individually and each affording their own en suite bathrooms with a shower. Two extra beds can be added to bring the villa´s accommodating capacity up to 12 guests.

As well as embracing the ´dolce far niente´ attitude celebrated by the Italians and indulging in some complete relaxation, within the estate guests can enjoy activities such as cooking lessons and wine tastings and tours.
