Exterior

Villa Camelia lies in a quiet position on a marine protected part of the Amalfi Coast renowned for its exquisite landscape and historical remnants.

It is conveniently positioned just 1km from a village with a restaurant and shops to meet your basic needs, and only 10 km from Sorrento and 15 km from Positano.

A path and flight of steps from the villa lead guests down the steep coast directly to the crystal-clear sea and a charming little beach almost exclusively inhabited by a few boats and with a few fishermen´s houses and a small church forming the backdrop.

Villa Camelia´s terrace is undoubtedly its most impressive feature, offering beautiful views of sea and sky stretching into the distance beyond the property´s olive grove. This south-facing terrace enjoys sunshine all day long and is equipped with table, chairs, and garden swing as well as a retractable awning so you can enjoy a little shade while you relax.

Down a few steps is the swimming pool accompanied with sun loungers and another terrace including a brick barbecue and authentic wood-burning pizza oven which makes the perfect place for lively meals al fresco. You are also encouraged to make the most of the seasonal fruit and vegetables in the front garden.

There is private parking beside the house and the bus stop linking all the towns along the coast is just 150m away.

Interior

The property can host up to 12 people, ideal for a large group who would appreciate this peaceful position, not to mention the tasteful, typical style décor.

The living room is light and spacious with vast windows and French doors leading onto the top terrace. It is furnished with comfortable sofas, an attractive fireplace and a dining table and chairs. Modern amenities include Satellite television, DVD player, music system and Internet connection.

The traditional kitchen has all you could need for convenient self-catering including a dishwasher and washing machine.

Two of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, one a large double with a television and the other with bunk beds. They share a bathroom with a shower.

A double bedroom and a twin along with another shower room are on the first floor, where guests can find also a second large terrace with glorious views and perfect for sunbathing. Finally, an external staircase takes you up to the roof terrace.

The remaining rooms are on the lower floor at garden level and consist of a second kitchen, living area with sofa bed, a double bedroom and bathroom.
