Exteriors 

Born in 1880 and awarded historical residence a century later, this magnificent hotel in Spoleto makes a high quality hotel inspiring admiration and wonder. The Italian garden is adorned by flowerbeds filled with antique roses, lavender and agapantus, surrounded by box hedges. A Renaissance marble fountain and a travertine balustrade, a mythological statue under an secular yew and a Roman age capital resting on a basalt column and a milestone will cast a spell on the guests with their eclectic beauty.  During the summer the garden witnesses breakfast buffets and delicious lunch or dinner from the “Piccola Carta”.
 The irregularly shaped swimming pool with its natural-stoned trampling lies in a meadow scattered with wild flowers and trees and presides over a beautiful view over the scenery. The relaxing circular hydro massage bath tub with water massage and air jets is integrated to the pool for moments of genuine pleasure.
The panoramic terrace with its watchful mythological statues at the front dominates a splendid view over the breathtaking Ponte delle Torri, Rocca Albernoziana and the Umbrian valley with medieval villages lying on it and Mount Subiano emerging from the horizon.  From the terrace guests can admire the well tended lawn surrounded by beautiful wooden fencing. Interiors

The villa has been intentionally decorated combining different styles. The result is a skilful pastiche.
The lounge is characterized by its eclectic and tasteful style. It is enthroned by a 16th century fireplace and a 17th century portal reading Pacem Natura Quaero. Magnificent  antique pieces of furniture and art  and an astounding library filled with 18th and 19th century architecture books create an outstanding place for those with an eye for beauty and art. On special celebrations such as New Year’s Eve or Easter chamber music concerts are held there under a ceiling decorated with golden details.
The beautifully frescoed loggia gives picturesque views over Spoleto and the medieval villages on the Umbrian valley, Trevi, Spello, Montefalco and Assisi emerging from the horizon on the slopes of Mount Subasio.

Breakfast can be served  in the intimacy of guests´ rooms, in the  public rooms or on the ceramic Deruta garden tables. Only if guests are few in number, the personalized breakfast is available.  The restaurant offers a light lunch menu based on fresh summer dishes (May to September), served in the fresh breezy garden or by the poolside.The cook prepares a fixed dinner menu of select local dishes ( April to October) with the authentic flavour of recently picked vegetables from the kitchen garden, extra virgin olive oil from the olive grove, and enriched with the aromatic herbs from the herb garden and  truffles and  mushrooms  from the woods around the hotel.  Villa Spoleto affords an indoor and outdoor bar service and a cellar with Italian, mainly Umbrian, brands of vintage wines to enjoy at meal times or pleasurably sitting in the garden.

Anniversaries, top management meetings and  weddings can be held for the hotel affords privacy, by its Exclusive Villa option, and high quality that guests demand.
