Interiors

This precious hotel in Ragusa is a mansion erected in 19th century which has been exquisitely refurbished to make room for it. It provides 22 beds in ten charming rooms, for a select group of guests who know how to realize where taste and beauty rest.

The rooms and suites have been comfortably decorated and softly lighted which conveys calm and relaxation. In soft colours with some touches of red, blue or yellow, they are fully equipped with all the modern comforts such as minibar, air conditioning, top quality mattresses and furnished with wooden furniture by handicraftsmen. There are also special rooms fitted for the disabled.

The restaurant is a few steps from the mansion. Considered an icon as to service and taste on the island, this top quality restaurant occupies the space where formerly the stables of the mansion were placed. It was inaugurated in 1953 and since then it has been kept in the family and passed down from generation to generation who share a passion for good food, wine and service. Both present owners are sommelier or connoisseur of food and wine and will share all their knowledge and good taste with their guests and clients. You will be infused with the soft pleasing sound of the waves and  served by kind hospitable people. This restaurant will seduce you into the pleasures of recipes tried and kindly prepared year after year for decades, of food flavoured and prepared with ingredients from different parts of Italy such as delicious home made pasta with swordfish, eggplants and uncultivated finochio, or tasty ravioli with grouper and a prawn sauce, among many others. The dishes follow the rhythm of seasons and exquisite dishes are prepared by the expertise of the chef. You will be able to try mackerel with tender courgette leaves and tomato “capuliatu”, lasagnette with plain cocoa and ricotta cheese among other delicious dishes.

Guests will enjoy a breakfast hall and bar. Sculpted in the rock is the reading room where the comfortable sofas invite to the world books open. The dining halls are the perfect setting to sip a drink from the American bar or wine bar, choose a world class cigar from the select Cuban list and succumb to relaxation. Among the cigars to chose from are Montecristi, Cohiba, Ohyo de Monterai, Partagas, Romeo Y Juliette, relished along with rum or cognac.

The hotel affords a private beach in Marina di Ragusa (20 km. away) where everything is provided for the pleasure and comfort of guests.
