Villa La Penisola is situated in Massa Lubrense, an unspoiled landscape of green, citrus and olive groves in the heart of the Sorrentino Peninsula, a few miles from the centre of Sorrento and Positano, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.

A few kilometres from the villa is a lively seaside resort where guests will enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Salerno, fresh fish meals, and boat trips to the magical coves and inlets which form part of the Marine Protected Area.

The paths that wind across the Sorrentino peninsula and the Amalfi Coast are easily accessible from the villa and provide nature lovers with plenty of trekking opportunities accompanied by breathtaking views and peace and quiet.

The main body of the villa is surrounded by well kept terraced gardens, where you will find a little area with toddler´s games (swing, slide etc) and a small basketball practice court along with a table tennis table. There is a lovely lawn with plenty of seating where you can relax in the shade of the old pine trees that frame the view of Capri

Across a short stretch of pathway is access to the large pool (5m x 14m) equipped with teak sun beds and rocking chairs, parasol umbrellas, a  changing room and outdoor shower.

The covered patio overlooking the sea with lounge seating and a glass table is the ideal setting for refreshing drinks, while the outdoor kitchen, barbecue and traditional pizza oven make for lovely al fresco meals.

There is a whole range of renowned restaurants in the area, both formal and informal, family-run places where you can taste typical products and dishes that comprise Neapolitan cuisine.

On request, personalized cooking classes and ´pizza school´ can be organized on site as a personal chef service or a personal shopper to stock your pantry prior to your arrival.

Interior

Villa la Penisola can accommodate sixteen people and is equipped with all modern comforts. The furnishings and decoration reflect a philosophy of travel and discovery with interesting pieces collected from journeys around the world.

There are eight bedrooms at the Villa, five double rooms all with panoramic views of the spectacular landscape, one of which has its own bathroom, and the master bedroom with a king size bed, hand painted fireplace and private bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub and multi-jet shower. There are a further two bathrooms on this level. Each bedroom also has its own flat screen satellite television.

The first floor has been planned to allow guests to fully enjoy the desirable position of the Villa. A large living-dining room is entirely surrounded by panoramic windows with a glimpse of the island of Capri in the distance. A stylish room in black and white with comfortable sofas, 50 inch satellite television with DVD player, a music system, and authentic fireplace.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, toaster, electric kettle, crockery and utensils etc.

The villa´s lower floor is devoted to recreation: A billiards room with adjoining library and a games room with another table tennis table, a table football set and board games.

The last reception room is the smart ´Hall of ships´, a smart study-lounge where guests can relax on ths sofas surrounded by perfect replicas in miniature of ancient ships or take advantage of the computer and Wi-Fi connection if you don´t want to disconnect completely.

The villa also has an annex apartment which can sleep another four guests with a double bedroom and bedroom with single bed and pull-out bed. It has its own little living room, kitchenette and bathroom with a bath tub.

The large garage can fit 4/ 5 cars (NOT suitable for high cars i.e. SUV type, maximum height 1.90).

Services included are: linen and towel supply, daily cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms, welcome cocktail, water and gas (except heating) consumption, 24 hr customer service line, night security with guard.

Other services on request, not already mentioned are: transfer to / from airport, port and railway station, personal guide, baby sitting ... and anything else that comes to mind.
