Historical Villa on the Amalfi Coast

Exterior

Villa Antica is an ancient villa close to a Medieval church and archeological site with views which will blow you away- the lush hillside plunging down to the sparkling sea and Amalfi and Atrani (Not for those afraid of heights!).

The villa is accessed via a flight of steps and a pathway from the road and is thus completely private. The area is especially suited to nature lovers and fans of trekking as there are numerous walking routes amongst a wildlife reserve. You can even walk the 1500 steps down to Amalfi if you´re feeling energetic.

The outdoor spaces at the villa are truly special and will certainly make your holiday memorable. The grand terraces are particularly ideal for holding events such as dinner or drinks parties. There is a very large terrace with a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a solarium with sun loungers, dining areas and a lovely lounge shaded by an awning.

Interior

12 + 4 guests can be comfortably accommodated in Villa Antica. The Villa´s lower level houses the living space; a very large living-dining room with a traditional stone fireplace, sofas and a television. This room leads onto the fully-equipped kitchen offering everything you could need for self-catering including fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. There is also a bathroom on this floor.

Upstairs, opening onto the fantastic solarium terrace and pool are the first set of bedrooms, two spacious doubles both with balconies and a bedroom with three single beds. A family bathroom is shared amongst these rooms.

An external staircase leads up to the attic rooms distributed over two levels. This is essentially an independent apartment as it features an equipped kitchenette including fridge, freezer, electric oven and hobs, a living area with a double sofa bed and small sea-view terrace, a shower room, an extra WC, a double and a single bedroom. It would be ideal for a family travelling as part of the larger group but who would like to have a little more privacy.  

This is also the case with the annex on the garden terrace. Here guests will find a living room with a double sofa bed, equipped kitchen, double bedroom and shower room.

Highly recommended to families or groups looking for a holiday combining relaxation by the pool and on the beach with something a little more active like mountain trekking or exploring the local region.
