Exterior

Villa Aurelia is an ancient mansion dating back to the eighteenth century, located in the heart of Chianti Senese, just 17km away from Siena and 45 Km from Florence. The property itself is located in a privileged position on a hill above an attractive old town.

Its location in the centre of Tuscany, a few km from the Firenze-Siena motorway makes Villa Aurelia the perfect holiday base from which to tour the many historical villages and towns in the area and to explore the cultural, food and wine, and art offerings of the region.

Surrounding the property itself is private parkland of about 1 hectare including a woodland of holm oak trees and a secret pathway, a real shady haven in the hottest hours of the day. To the right, the house is flanked by a terrace with lemon trees, the perfect spot for convivial summer al fresco dining. Another outdoor dining space can be found at the front of the villa under a gazebo.  Of course a villa wouldn't be complete without a pool and Villa Aurelia's is open from the beginning of May until the end of October and is situated in a private area behind the villa, surrounded by a large green lawn and furnished sun lounging area.

The property also has its own drive and private parking.

Interior

Recently subjected to a complete renovation and restoration, this exquisite property´s traditional charm has been enhanced and all modern amenities have been discreetly integrated without altering the villa's original structure.  

The ground floor's grand rooms are typical of 18^th century villas, inspired by the Palladian style. A large hallway leads on to the elegant dining room featuring antique furniture and the modern marble kitchen, completely equipped for self-catering with all amenities including electric oven, five burner stove, microwave, dishwasher,  washing machine. To the right of the hallway is the large vaulted living room, divided into three spaces by high archways. Two lounge areas with sofas- one of which has a Satellite television and the other a unique green marble fireplace.

On the first floor an additional smart living room and hallway can be found, this makes a lovely space for relaxing with a good book in the peace and quiet. Of course, there is also the sleeping area on this level. The six bedrooms are all fitted with air conditioning. Four of the bedrooms have king and queen size beds, decorated in the same majestic manner as the rest of the villa and en suite bathrooms with contemporary showers. The last two bedrooms share a bathroom and one has a double bed and the final one has twin beds.

The caretaker has a private apartment on the second floor, with a separate access, and is available should guests require anything. Otherwise, all internal and external spaces are at guests' exclusive disposal.

A family or group of up to 12 people will feel like royalty here at Villa Aurelia. All amenities combined with a perfect location and elegant style will go far beyond the satisfaction of those who appreciate comfort and quality.
