Family Villa on Sicily coast

Exterior

Villa Cala Bianca seems to be suspended between sky and sea, situated right on the Sicilian coast. It overlooks the charming bay of Cala Bianca and is also just outside Castellamare del Golfo, a fairly large town with a cathedral and plenty of restaurants and shops. 

Several charming spots are easily accessed from the villa, little traditional towns to explore like Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo and Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve for example or you might also want to take a boat trip or a gastronomy tour.

Villa Cala Bianca itself has its own attractive garden, very prettily designed with Mediterranean palms and olive trees lining the pathway leading to the large swimming pool surrounded by its solarium.

There is also a lovely shaded lounge area for if you need a break from the never-ending sunshine, and also a large covered terrace furnished with a dining table and chairs and accompanied by basic outdoor kitchen facilities and a barbecue which makes the perfect place for convivial al fresco meals altogether.


Interior

The Mediterranean flavour continues indoors with a simple yet elegant style thanks to a collection of attractive period pieces and artwork which tastefully adorns the walls.

The central living room is a cozy room featuring sofas arranged around a traditional working fireplace. Also on the ground floor is the fully-equipped kitchen decorated with hand-painted majolica tiles and with direct access to the outdoor dining terrace, a single bedroom, shower room and laundry room.

Continuing upstairs you will find the master bedroom, a romantic room with its antique furnishings, queen-size bed and spectacular view. Two other double bedrooms are housed on this level, one of which has its own little breakfast balcony with a view. There is also a family bathroom.

Bed and bath linen are provided and there is air conditioning in all the bedrooms for your comfort at a small fee.
