Exclusive villa on the Coast between Amalfi and Positano

Exterior

Villa Conchiglia boasts a fabulous position on the Amalfi Coast, located between the well-known towns of Amalfi and Positano (with a bus stop to take you into town 50m away), on the western stretch, characterized by lovely little inlets and bays where the crystal-clear, calm sea laps the sand gently.

The sea can easily be reached directly from the villa by stairways connecting the lower terrace with the beach. How lovely to have all this on your doorstep! There is an elevator from the beach too so you needn´t worry about tackling the steps at the end of the day.

The villa also has its own splendid outdoor spaces. It is surrounded by approximately 6000sqm of private garden interestingly divided into different relaxation areas with seating, winding pathways and a charming natural grotto. The top terrace is particularly lovely with the best panoramic view and being furnished with benches, sofas, tables and chairs and a barbecue it makes an ideal place for pleasant al fresco meals. All is adorned with elegant garden sculptures and Mediterranean plants like amphora and purple bougainvillea which simply add to the exclusive, tranquil atmosphere.  

Interior

The buildings that make up Villa Conchiglia are also laid out on various levels. The main unit situated on the top level is spacious with large, light rooms. Blue and yellow accents contrast well with the fresh white and, together with the carefully chosen ornamens lend a fun seaside feel.

Living space consists of a comfortable lounge and another sitting room with satellite television and DVD player,  dining room, fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, 5 cooking hobs, traditional wood-burning oven (for pizza), oven and another set of table and chairs for casual meals or breakfast. The master bedroom is a romantic double room with a four-poster bed and pretty fireplace as well as an en suite bathroom featuring a hydro massage shower. It also has its own access to a small terrace. There is another double bedroom and a twin which share a shower room.

The next terrace down can be found a small annex with a double bedroom with balcony, a bathroom,  a living room with a double sofa bed (to accommodate a further 2 guest if desired), television and another balcony and finally a kitchenette with a fridge and 2 electric hobs.

Finally, Villa Conchiglia´s lower level houses a studio apartment with a double sofa bed, kitchenette and simple shower room.

Along with the luxury that already abounds at Villa Conchiglia guests are treated to further services included in the rates such as a welcome reception, breakfast, 3-4 hours of daily cleaning, and a twice weekly linen and towel change.
