Charming with lots of country character perfectly describes this lovely rural villa.

To imagine a holiday spent here just picture the views of Lake Trasimeno surrounded by the different shades of green of the olive groves and oaks bathed in the glowing Umbrian sun. This is what meets guests staying at Villa Cecilia

The villa is situated in the region known for its wine and culinary delights and also conveniently in an area near to all the art and medieval towns such as Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, and Orvieto for interesting cultural excursions.  

The villa´s top terrace is where the best views can be enjoyed and here a pergola, pizza oven and barbecue add to your al fresco dining experience.

Down a short flight of steps is another level of the garden where the large pool can be found with changing rooms and sun loungers alongside.


Interior

This attractive villa has been restored to its former splendour ensuring to maintain the delightful rustic features-chestnut beams, Serena stone and handmade Umbrian tiles and combining them with simple modern furniture.  

The neutral colour palette is soft and relaxing, to appeal to all tastes.

On the ground floor there is a large living room with sofas arranged around a focal fireplace, television with satellite television as well as another seating area. This room leads onto an elegant dining room, study and the fully-equipped kitchen, fitted with everything you could need for self-catering.

The master bedroom and its en suite bathroom are also on this floor along with an extra guest bathroom.

Continuing to the second floor there are four suites with with king-size or queen size beds, a suite with twin beds, each with its private bathroom, and a smart study leading onto a balcony with sweeping views.

Up another flight of stairs two more double bedrooms can be found, which share a bathroom. A splendid games room has a billiards table, reading area and space for children to  play.

For those who want to really take a proper holiday break doing as little as possible, a cook and shopper are available on request.
