The hotel has devoted itself to creating both a healthy atmosphere and one that blends harmoniously with nature, the first of its kind in the region. Achieving this required full commitment and painstaking research into materials used (local timber, stone, terracotta and wool), optimal lighting and attention to thermal well-being (wall and under-floor heating and typical terracotta stoves).

The hotel boasts a particularly special culinary experience. The creative team in the kitchen firstly offer a hearty breakfast buffet with an organic selection providing light and healthy options to full cooked breakfasts. In the evening enjoy a 5 course gourmet extravaganza in addition to an extensive salad buffet and selection of local and international cheese. Chefs ensure to prepare these dishes with local fresh produce as well as organic home-grown vegetables and great consideration is paid to those with specific dietary needs. Furthermore, the hotel has an incredible Michelin star restaurant, open only for dinner, an authentic ´stube´ completely renovated in 1999.

The heated pool is open all day long and is accompanied by a Herb and Finnish sauna, Turkish sauna, fog and aroma shower and vitality whirl-pool.
