Exterior

This splendid ancient villa can be found tucked in the Tuscan hills and just 5 minutes from historic Pistoia, a well preserved and charming medieval city.

This is an excellent location for exploring the wider region too. Florence can easily be reached in half an hour by train for example, and other cities like Lucca, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo are all under an hour away. Furthermore, the mountains and sea are both nearby so you can make the most of Tuscany´s rich diversity and see it all.

The residence has a very large garden with lots of private seating areas, shady trees, a rose garden with lemon and orange trees, an extensive terrace furnished with tables and chairs for al fresco dining and outdoor lounge furniture. There´s even a barbecue and table-tennis table at guests´ free disposition. The infinity pool however, is certainly the main attraction, set in its panoramic position it is a real sun trap and the views overlooking the valley are simply stunning, rolling green hills stretching for miles.

The villa is surrounded by private parkland too, making a delightful setting for strolls among the olive groves, streams, forests and wildlife.

Interior

The grand villa is divided into 4 complete apartments which share the magnificent garden and parkland and which can house between four and six guests respectively.

Each apartment has its own unique characteristics which lend a real charm- from high, barrel-vaulted ceilings and huge, open fireplaces to wooden beams and authentic terracotta floors. Along with pleasant bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms each apartment boasts a kitchenette, fully-equipped with all you could want and more for self-catering, including oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher as well as a useful washing machine and dryer.

To make your stay even more special a range of extra services are on offer for you to enjoy. You might like to take lessons in Tuscan cooking, flower and vegetable gardening or watercolour painting, have your meals prepared for you or just a special breakfast or dinner.  You can also request extra cleaning or maid services, and events can even be organized in the villa´s gardens.
